29 CFR 1910.305(g)(2)(ii): Flexible cords were not used only in continuous lengths without splice or tap The employer is failing to protect the employees from electrical hazards. This was most recently documented at Valmont Industries located at 1600 E 29th Avenue in Columbus, NE 68601 on June 18, 2019. Electrical connections to the seamer were made using multiple electrical extension cords to production equipment. Multiple cords were plugged into one another to power this piece of production equipment, creating shock and electrocution hazards.
