29 CFR 1910.184(c)(14): Employers used slings without affixed and legible identification markings. a) On or about May 8, 2023, and times prior the employer failed to procure identification markings/tags for the double legged steel alloy chain sling. Operators nor members of management could identify the load rating, steel grade, etc. of the steel alloy sling. b) On or about May 8, 2023, and times prior, rotomolding operators utilized a synthetic fiber sling with an illegible identification tag caused by wear and tear.
