29 CFR 1910.307(c)(1): Equipment, wiring methods, and installations of equipment in hazardous (classified) locations were not intrinsically safe, approved for the hazardous (classified) location, or safe for the hazardous (classified) location in that equipment including wall plugs, switches, lighting and associated wiring were not approved as intrinsically safe: (a)Forest Products Distributors, Inc. at 5406 Old Folsom Road, Rapid City, SD 57703: On or about and at times prior to May 12, 2022, the employer did not ensure that wall plugs, switches, lighting and associated wiring in Class II, Division I environments were intrinsically safe and approved for Class II, Division I environments. This condition exposed employees to hazards associated with fire and explosion hazards.
