29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv): Flexible cords and cables were used for purposes prohibited by paragraphs (A) through (F) of 29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv): (a) Welding Area - Employees used a triple-outlet, two-foot long flexible cord, plugged into the bottom outlet of the two-outlet receptacle box (located to the right of where the natural gas line enters the building), instead of fixed wiring, to power equipment such as a frame rotator, exposing employees to electrical and fire hazards, on or about May 6, 2024. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and state employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
