29 CFR 1910.217(c)(2)(i)(a): Point of operation guard(s) on mechanical power press(es) did not prevent entry of hands or fingers into the point of operation by reaching through, over, under or around the guard(s): a. On or about October 5, 2018, in the production area, Line 4 had inadequate guarding that would allow an employee's hand to reach the point of operation on the operator's side of the press. The employee was exposed to the hazards of inadequately guarded points of operation on the press. b. On or about December 12, 2018, in the production area, the drive side of Press 6 was inadequately guarded in that it had unguarded space in front of the point of operation. Employees were thereby exposed to the hazards of an unguarded point of operation on the press.
