29 CFR 1910.119(f)(4): The employer did not develop or implement safe work practices for employees and contractors performing high risk maintenance activities on covered processes. a) MFG Chemical-Callahan: The employer did not implement safe work practices for employees and contracted personnel engaged in performing the on-going mechanical integrity of process equipment. Contracted employees were exposed to materials such as, but not limited to, hydrogen peroxide, phenols, bromide and maleic acid while performing repairs and maintenance on reactors, condensers, piping and other equipment.
