29 CFR 1910.1025(l)(1)(i):Employee(s) working in an area where there is potential exposure to airborne lead at any level were not informed of the content of Appendices A and B of 29 CFR 1910.1025: Location: Mirion Technologies (Capintec), Inc., 7 Vreeland Road, Florham Park, NJ a) The employer did not inform employees of the content of Appendices A and B as detailed in 1910.1025 when exposed to lead at any level. On May 8, 2023, employees milling shielding materials in the machine room were exposed to airborne lead concentrations of 20 micrograms per cubic meter, 10 micrograms per cubic meter, 3 micrograms per cubic meter, and 2 micrograms per cubic meter of air as an 8 hour Time Weighted Average. The employees were sampled for 366 minutes, 430 minutes, 362 minutes, and 372 minutes, respectively. Zero exposure was assumed for the unsampled period of 114 minutes, 50 minutes, 118 minutes, and 108 minutes, respectively. The shielding material contained 99.99 percent lead. Violation occurred on or about May 8, 2023.
