29 CFR 1910.219(a)(2): 29 CFR 1910.219(a)(2): Vertical and inclined belts (paragraphs (e) (3) and (4) of this section) if not more than two and one-half (2 1/2) inches wide and running at a speed of less than one thousand (1,000) feet per minute, and if free from metal lacings or fastenings were not guarded with a nip-point belt and pulley guard. On or about October 9, 2019 and times prior, the employer did not install guards on V-belts of the Marion Paddle Mixer used for mixing detergent, exposing employees to caught-in hazards. Nu-Way Products Company was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.219(e)(1)(i), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1375716, citation number 1, item number 6/b and was affirmed as a final order on 08/21/2019, with respect to a workplace located at 220 Garrison Avenue, West Memphis, AR 72301.
