The Shop Fox 17 inch band saw, S/N 920947, had up to 7 inches of unused blade that was not guarded by the adjustable guard when cutting 30 inch wooden blocks, as observed on March 5, 2014. (b) Shop Area. Adjustable guard was not being used. The Shop Fox 21 inch band saw, S/N 08070017, had up to 2 inches of unused blade that was not guarded by the adjustable guard when cutting 30 inch wooden blocks, as observed on March 5, 2014.
