29 CFR 1910.243(b)(2): Airhose. Hose and hose connections used for conducting compressed air to utilization equipment shall be designed for the pressure and service to which they are subjected. On or about 13 Jan 2015 and times there prior to the employer failed to ensure that air-hoses used in the areas near columns D-30, D-27 were adequate for the location of use exposing employees to struck by hazard from the potential of whipping when the hose breaks.
