29 CFR 1926.1428(a):The employer of the signal person must ensure that each signal person meets the Qualification Requirements (paragraph (c) of this section) prior to giving any signals. a) On or about April 20, 2022, at the previously addressed inspection site, the employer did not determine if the signal person met the qualification requirements prior to signaling the crane operator. Abatement certification is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(c).
