29 CFR 1910.243(b)(2): Airhose and hose connections used for conducting compressed air to utilization equipment was not designed for the pressure and service to which they were subjected. a) On or about March 13, 2024, and at times prior thereto, Stamtec press area; Stamtec Punch Press # 34, employees were using a pneumatic air hose had a worm-driven hose clamp attached to its hose fitting that was not designed to be used on an air hose, while operating the press machine. b) On or about March 13, 2024, and at times prior thereto, EPTD press area; next to the Bliss Punch Press #112 and against the wall employees were using a pneumatic air hose had a worm-driven hose clamp attached to its hose fitting that was not designed to be used on an air hose, while operating the press machine.
