29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(A): Flexible cords and/or cables were used as a substitute for the fixed wiring of a structure: a) Production area guillotine: An extension cord used to power an electric pallet jack was plugged into a power strip that powered a fan and a radio, on or about 7/13/15. b) Production area hand gluing line: An extension cord was used to power a conveyor line, on or about 7/13/15. NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
