29 CFR 1910.303(b)(7)(iv): Equipment with damaged parts that may adversely affect its safe operation or its mechanical strength, such as broken, bent, cut, or deteriorated by corrosion, chemical action, or overheating parts shall not be used: a. 2960 Woodbridge Ave., Edison, NJ - Production Area - Line P The employer did not ensure that broken/damaged electrical outlets were replaced or repaired. Employees used electrical outlets with damaged sockets to power computer equipment where a single gang, 110-120v, electrical outlet box had a broken outlet that employees used to charge their personal electronic devices.
