29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(3): The employee training did not include the requirements of 29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(3)(i) through (h)(3)(iv): a) Throughout the facility, on or about 7/14/16: Hazard communication training did not include physical and health hazards, measures employees can take to protect themselves and details of the hazard communication program for employees including, but not limited to: 1) sandblasters not trained on the hazards of working with silica and heavy metals such as copper, iron oxide and nickel 2) sandblasters not trained to use sand blast gun nozzles which would deactivate when hand pressure was removed. 3) spray painters not trained to bond containers during flammable liquid transfers 4) parts washers not trained to access appropriate SDSs. Abatement certification must be submitted for this item.
