29 CFR 1910.219(c)(4)(i): Projecting shaft ends did not present a smooth edge and end and projected more than one-half the diameter of the shaft without being guarded by nonrotating caps or safety sleeves. At the facility, the employer did not ensure that projecting shaft ends were protected or guarded to prevent employees from being caught-in or struck-by the rotating shafts: a. on the conveyor beside Manual Booth Number 2; and b. at the end of the conveyor leading out of the Auto Booth.
