29 CFR 1910.178(l)(1)(i): The employer did not ensure that each powered industrial truck operator is competent to operate a powered industrial truck safely, as demonstrated by the successful completion of the training and evaluation specified in this paragraph (l): a) On or about 2/16/2017, Throughout the facility: Employees were operating powered industrial trucks such as, but not limited to propane fueled fork trucks, electric rack truck and a diesel yard truck. The employer did not ensure that the operators were competent to operate a powered industrial truck safely by providing training and evaluation as specified in paragraph (l). Abatement certification is required for this item.
