29 CFR 1910.261(a)(3)(iii): Elevators were not maintained and operated in accordance with the Safety Code for Elevators, Dumbwaiters, and Moving Walks, A17.1 - 1965, including Supplements A17.1a - 1967, A17.1b - 1968, A17.1c - 1969, and A17.1d - 1970, which is incorporated by reference as specified in 29 CFR 1910.6: a) On or about 2/15/2017, In the facility: The "Giant Lift Equipment" freight elevator was not provided with a capacity plate, was not provided with frequent inspections, and had an inoperable door interlock on the first floor, as is required by ANSI 17.1 sections 207.3, 900.6, and 111.3. Abatement certification is required for these items.
