29 CFR 1926.451(g)(1)(vii): Incorporated by reference 29 CFR 1910.27(a): Each employee on a scaffold, not otherwise specified in paragraphs (g)(1)(i) through (g)(1)(vi) of this section, more than 10 feet (3.1 m) above lower level was not protected from falls by the use of personal fall arrest systems or guardrail systems meeting the requirements of paragraph (g)(4) of this section. On or about January 30, 2018, employees were using a JLG scissor lift to work on tanks and to gain access to the top of the tanks to unhook them. The top rail was missing from the scissor lift and the mid rail chain was not being used exposing employees to a fall hazard up to approximately 20 feet.
