Text For Citation: 02 Item/Group: 001 Hazard:
29 CFR 1910.176(b): Material storage racks were not stable and secure against sliding and collapse due to damaged support structures: a) Broad Street Bldg., on or about 3/3/15: Locally designed and fabricated storage racks for various flat metal plates/sheets, including, but not limited to #15, 16, 17, 18, 20 and 21, were not stable and secure from sliding and collapse in that the welded horizontal support arms were bent and twisted. Pacemaker Steel & Piping Co., Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard which was contained in OSHA Inspection Number 314347816, Citation 1, Item 2 and was affirmed as a final order on November 29, 2010, with respect to a workplace located at 2 North Floral Avenue, Binghamton, New York 13901 and, Pacemaker Steel & Piping of Rochester, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard which was contained in OSHA Inspection Number 967567, Citation 1, Item 1 and was affirmed as a final order on August 7, 2014 with respect to a workplace located at 7 West Avenue, Manchester, New York 14504. Abatement documentation must be submitted for this item.
