29 CFR 1910.266(f)(1)(iii): The employer shall assure that operating and maintenance instructions are available on the machine or in the area where the machine is being operated. Each machine operator and maintenance employee shall comply with the operating and maintenance instructions. a. On the site where logging operations were performed, the employer did not have operating and maintenance records available on site or in the office thereby not enabling employees the procedures for inspecting equipment and checking the operating systems.
