29 CFR 1910.157(c)(1): Portable fire extinguishers were not mounted, located and identified so that they were readily accessible without subjecting the employees to injuries: On or about July 5, 2017, employees were exposed to fire hazards due to the following: a. fire extinguisher missing sign on fire extinguisher hanging on the side of a rack b. fire extinguisher hanging on office wall blocked by boxes and cart c. fire extinguisher blocked by fork lifts at the chargers d. fire extinguisher missing on red column next to office wall e. fire extinguisher missing on yellow column in warehouse f. fire extinguisher missing sign on yellow column in warehouse In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
