29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): 1. Employees performing roofing work are not protected from fall hazards through the use of a fall protection system. The employer fails to ensure effective protection against falls as required by the standard, as demonstrated on or about October 9, 2020, 58 Lob Wedge Lane, Bunnell, FL 32210, when employees installing dry waterproof membrane on a one-story residential structure, without the use of conventional fall protection, are exposed to a fall hazard up to 10-feet, 4 inches. The P&S Services Group, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1252499, citation number 2, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on October 24, 2017, with respect to a workplace located at 518-546 Richmond Drive, Saint Johns, FL 32259.
