Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system unless another provision in paragraph (b) of this section provides for an alternative fall protection measure. a) Jara Construction, Inc; at a jobsite located at 766 Fescue Road, Lot 381, Sunbury, Ohio 43074: On and/or preceding January 28, 2021, the employer did not ensure employees were protected from falls while engaged in residential construction activities. An employee was installing roofing materials without fall protection, thereby exposed to fall hazards of up to 25 feet. Jara Construction Inc. was previously cited for a Repeat violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1479765, citation number 2, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on August 3, 2020 with respect to a workplace located at Broadmore Commons Lot 63, Pataskala, Ohio 43062. Jara Construction Inc. was previously cited for a Repeat violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1450503, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on February 6, 2020 with respect to a workplace located at Lot 5803, 2737 Summerland Loop, Powell, OH, 43065. Jara Construction Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1401142, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on August 30, 2019, with respect to a workplace located at 1450 E.
