29 CFR 1926.1417(o)(1): The equipment was operated in excess of its rated capacity. On November 25, 2022, at Wharf 4, Gantry Crane #2: The YD-120 barge crane was operated in excess of its rated capacity of 11,200 pounds for the whipline, when it was used to lift an A-frame leg of the boom assembly with attached caged ladder that weighed 27,000 pounds. Employees were exposed to struck-by and crushed-by hazards.
