29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Eye and face protective equipment were not used when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents: The employer is failing to protect employees from eye and face injuries. This was most recently documented on November 21, 2023, at the residential worksite located at 8039 SE 5th Street, Blue Springs, Missouri. Employees were exposed to struck by hazards when conducting framing activities while using pneumatic tools without the use of eye or face protection. Gold Construction, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1679830, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on October 18, 2023, with respect to a workplace located at 7920 SE 6th Terrace, Blue Springs, Missouri.
