29 CFR 1910.134(d)(1)(iii): The employer did not identify and evaluate respiratory hazards in the workplace to include a reasonable estimate of employee exposure to respiratory hazards and an identification of the contaminant's chemical state and physical form: Hothead Grabba- 103-27 99th Street, Ozone Park, NY 11417 a) Warehouse: Employees engaged in tobacco manufacturing activities shredded, dry, and package tobacco leaves containing mold/mildew spores. The employer did not adequately assess the workplace to determine if hazards were present, to include but not limited to, the employees exposed to mold/ mildew spores while performing tobacco leaf processing duties; on or about 5/2/2024. Note: The employer is required to submit abatement certification for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19.
