29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(5)(i): Non-self-supporting ladders were not used at an angle such than the horizontal distance from the top support to the foot of the ladder way approximately one-quarter of the working length of the ladder (the distance along the ladder between the foot and the top support). (a) 4448 Aubrey Ave, Philadelphia - On or about 5/17/17, employees using a 32ft extension ladder was not used at an angle of approximately one-quarter of it's height, exposing employees to fall hazards. Vivint Solar Developer, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 988131, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on 11/4/14, with respect to a workplace located at 79 Cheever Ave, Dracut, MA.
