29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i): The employer did not provide adequate training to ensure that the purpose and function of the energy control program was understood by employees: a) On or about 7/11/2018, Throughout the facility: Employees were performing maintenance operations, clearing jambs, and cleaning equipment without utilizing lock out procedures. This included cleaning all production equipment, changing suction cups on the egg transfer machine and clearing eggs from the egg peeler conveyor. Lockout training was not provided to authorized and effected employees. Abatement documentation is required for this item. Deb El Food Products, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.147(c)(47(i)(A), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1269019, citation number 1, item number 1c and was affirmed as a final order on 12/27/2017, with respect to a workplace located at 35 West State Street, Sherburne, NY.
