29 CFR 1910.22(d)(1): The employer did not ensure that walking-working surfaces were inspected, regularly and as necessary, and maintained in a safe condition: (a) On or about October 2, 2019 in the die cast area, the employer did not ensure that walking-working surfaces were maintained in a safe condition as debris from metal castings, plastic bottles, gloves, boxes, and plywood were on the floor and plywood and brooms were leaned up against the wall, exposing die employees to slip, trip, and fall hazards. The Yoder Industries, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.22(a)(3), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1244399, citation number 1, item number 1b, was affirmed as a final order on October 11, 2017, with respect to a workplace located at 3009 Production Court, Dayton, Ohio 45414.
