29 CFR 1910.265(c)(5)(ii): Stairways were not provided with a standard handrail on at least one side or on any open side: a) Binding Station - Inspection Shed; On or about February 2015 and at times prior thereto the employer exposed employees to fall hazards in that employees were allowed to walk up and down fixed stairs with four or more risers that did not have a standard stair railing. b) Sorting Area; On or about February 2015 and at times prior thereto the employer exposed employees to fall hazards in that employees were allowed to walk up and down fixed stairs with four or more risers that did not have a standard stair railing. Linden Lumber Company, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.23(e)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 314427402, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on October 15, 2010, with respect to a workplace located at 23741 US Hwy 43 N, Linden AL 36748.
