29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee used appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles. a) RD Quality Construction, LLC. On or about October 4, 2022 at the address of 19654 Kellogg Rd. Bowling Green OH 43402: The employer did not ensure each affected employee used appropriate eye or face protection while utilizing pneumatic nail guns during roofing work activities on residential structure. Employees working in this condition were exposed to potential struck by hazards (flying projectile/ricochet nails). RD Quality Construction, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 1926.102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1457444, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on March 16, 2020, with respect to a workplace located at 14530 Dexter Road, Perrysburg, OH 43551.
