29 CFR 1926.150(a)(1): The employer did not develop and maintain a fire protection program to be followed throughout all phases of construction and demolition work, and/or did not provide for the firefighting equipment as specified in this subpart: a) Lot 579 Macleish Street Middletown, DE 19709: On or about February 5, 2024, employees were exposed to fire hazards while working with combustible liquids such as gasoline to fill a generator with no fire extinguishers present on site. The Road Contractor Corp was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, 29 CFR 1926.150(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1686108, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 10/2/2023, with respect to a workplace located at 116 Main Street Middletown, DE 19709.
