29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(i): Procedures were not utilized for the control of potentially hazardous energy when employees were engaged in activities covered by this section: On August 6, 2015 and after, the employer failed to ensure written Lockout/tagout procedures were utilized by maintainers while performing maintenance, to include scheduled and unscheduled, on Charging Cranes 304, 305, Ladle Crane 307, Mold Handling Crane 310, Teeming Crane 314 and Steel plate Crane 315. The TimkenSteel Corp. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.147(c)(4)(i), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 971450, citation number 01, item number 004A and was affirmed as a final order on August 7, 2014, with respect to a workplace located at 4511 Faircrest Ave. SW, Canton, OH 44706.
