29 CFR 1910.147(d)(3): All energy isolating devices that were needed to control the energy to the machine or equipment were not physically located and operated in such a manner as to isolate the machine or equipment from the energy source(s): On August 6, 2015 and prior, the employer failed to ensure employees performing maintenance, to include scheduled and unscheduled, on Charging Cranes 304, 305, Ladle Crane 307, Mold Handling Crane 310, Teeming Crane 314 and Steel Plate Crane 315 isolated all energy sources. The TimkenSteel Corp. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.147(c)(4)(i), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 971450, citation number 01, item number 004A and was affirmed as a final order on August 7, 2014, with respect to a workplace located at 4511 Faircrest Ave. SW, Canton, OH 44706.
