29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(13): The top or top step of a stepladder is used as a step: Frame Q LLC does not ensure that employees working on stepladders do not stand on the top step. This violation was most recently observed at 417 3rd Street, Palisades Park, NJ, at instance (a): Interior Structure 1st Floor- where an employee was exposed to fall hazards of approximately six feet while engaged in framing work and standing on top of an "A" frame ladder, on or about July 11, 2018. To abate this violation the employer must ensure that its employees who work on step ladders are trained on their use and not allowed to stand on the top step. Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d). Frame Q LLC was previously cited REPEAT for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1113701, citation number 01, item number 02 and was affirmed as a final order on 03/08/2018, with respect to a workplace located at 1010/1006 Morningside Ln, Fort Lee, NJ 07024. Frame Q LLC was previously cited SERIOUS for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 979064, citation number 01, item number 04 and was affirmed as a final order on 10/25/2017, with respect to a workplace located at 18 Skyline Dr, Englewood Cliffs, NJ 07632.
