29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer shall provide a training program for each employee who might be exposed to fall hazards. The program shall enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and shall train each employee in the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards. a) Jara Construction, Inc; at a jobsite located at Lot 63, Old Bay Drive, Pataskala, Ohio 43062: On and/or preceding June 17, 2020,the employer failed to provide a training program for employee who were working on the roof of a two-story house. The employees did not know or understand the requirements for fall protection or the correct procedures required to minimize the fall hazards. Jara Construction Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1450503, citation number 2, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on February 6, 2020 with respect to a workplace located at Lot 5803, 2737 Summerland Loop, Powell, OH, 43065 Jara Construction Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1401142, citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on August 30, 2019, with respect to a workplace located at 1450 E. Melrose Ave, Findlay, OH 45840.
