29 CFR 1910.119(f)(1): The employer shall develop and implement written operating procedures that provide clear instructions for safely conducting activities involved in each covered process consistent with the process safety information and shall address at least the following elements: 29 CFR 1910.119(f)(1)(iii): Safety and health considerations: 29 CFR 1910.119(f)(1)(iii)(C): Control measures to be taken if physical contact or airborne exposure occurs: a. On or before July 13, 2017, in the employer's Booster Operating Procedures, LP-BX-002, Revision No. 35, Section 7: Safety and Health Considerations, the control measures to be taken if eye and skin contact occurred for PETN (pentaerythritol tetranitrate) was not included. Austin Powder Company was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.119(f)(1)(iii)(C), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 957166, citation number 1, item number 14b and was affirmed as a final order on August 21, 2014, with respect to a workplace located at 7LC10 Blandy Road, Camden, Arkansas 71701.
