29 CFR 1926.502(e)(2): Positioning devices shall be secured to an anchorage capable of supporting at least twice the potential impact load of an employee's fall or 3,000 pounds (13.3 kN), whichever is greater. a. Located at 834 Cranberry Drive in Pataskala, Ohio: On or about February 11, 2020, employees were exposed to approximately twenty foot fall hazards while performing roofing work attached to a positioning rope that was not properly anchored to the roof structure. The rope was wrapped around the peak of a roof truss and tied back to itself. Gilberto Miramontes was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1207544, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 04/10/2017, with respect to a workplace located at Lot 33, Celtic Crossing, Dublin, Ohio.
