29 CFR 1910.217(e)(1)(i): A program of periodic and regular inspections of mechanical power press(es) was not established and followed to ensure that all parts, auxiliary equipment and safeguards were in a safe operating condition and adjustment: a) Press Area, on or about 3/14/16: Periodic inspections of mechanical power presses was not done to ensure that all parts, auxiliary equipment and safeguards were in safe operating condition. The York Metal Toll Processing, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard which was contained in OSHA inspection number 958980, citation number 1, item number 16a and was affirmed as a final order on 10/2/15, with respect to a workplace located at 8 Dwight Park Drive, Syracuse, NY 13209. Abatement documentation must be submitted for this item.
