29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(A): Flexible cords and/or cables were used as a substitute for the fixed wiring of a structure: a) Machine Area 1, on or about 2/13/18: Extension cord providing current to the skimmer on the Nakamura TW30 machining center was strung along the floor and being used as permanent wiring. b) Machine Area 1, on or about 2/13/18: Extension cords and strip outlet providing current to a deburring wheel, skimmer, portable tools and equipment at the 405 machining center were being used as permanent wiring. c) Machine Area 1, Manual lathes, on or about 2/13/18: Extension cord providing current to a skimmer was being used as permanent wiring. The Kenwell Corporation was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1294678, citation number 1, item number 10a and was affirmed as a final order on 9/20/13, with respect to a workplace located at 871 Hannibal Street, Fulton, NY 13069.
