29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(A): Flexible cords and/or cables were used as a substitute for the fixed wiring of a structure: a) At building 308, in the production area, on or about November 18, 2021, and at times prior to, the employer exposed employees to fire and slip/trip/fall hazards, in that the employer used multiple extension cords, routed throughout the ceiling support beams and across the floor, as a permanent power supply to electrically powered equipment while employees worked inside the building. Place Vendome Holding Co., Inc. DBA R & F Marketing was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, 29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(A), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1503876, citation number 1, item number 13, and was affirmed as a final order on June 14, 2021, with respect to a workplace located at 308 Glenwood Road, Swainsboro, GA 30401.
