29 CFR 1926.451(b)(1)(i): Each platform unit (e.g., scaffold plank, fabricated plank, fabricated deck, or fabricated platform) was not installed so that the space between adjacent units and the space between the platform and the uprights were no more than 1 inch (2.5 cm) wide, except where the employer can demonstrate that a wider space is necessary. On or about May 19, 2022, employees performed masonry tasks on a scaffold where the space between the platform, uprights, and supporting planks was more than 1 inch (2.5 cm) wide. DRA Enterprises, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.451(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number #1378778, citation number #1, item number #1-a and was affirmed as a final order on 06-24-2019, with respect to a workplace located at 2680 Bogan Walk, BATON ROUGE, LA 70802.
