29 CFR 1910.305(g)(2)(iii):Flexible cords were not connected to devices and fittings so that tension would not be transmitted to joints or terminal screws: On or about November 11, 2023, at the deck hatch opening to the Mo-Gas Tank 4C 9-182-1 of the USNS 1st Lt Jack Lummus, after the accident had occurred, a 120-volt yellow in color extension cord used to help power a string of lights placed in the Mo-Gas Tank had the outer insulation pulled back from the plug end, exposing the individual insulated wires underneath.
