29 CFR 1926.503(a)(2): The employer did not assure that each employee exposed to fall hazards was trained by a competent person qualified in the areas specified in 29 CFR 1926.503 (a)(2)(i) through (viii) a- 21 Charlotte Street, Marlton NJ: Workers, not utilizing fall protection, were exposed to fall hazards up to and in excess of 17 feet 7 inches to surfaces below when performing floor sheathing, floor truss installation and other related activities while not utilizing fall protection at the worksite. These workers had not received fall protection training as specified in 29 CFR 1926.503 (a)(2)(i) through (viii). Condition noted on or about 12/14/23. Road Contractor Corporation was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1686108, citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on 10/02/23, with respect to a workplace located at 116 Main Street - Bethesda United Methodist Church, Middletown DE. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
