29 CFR 1926.100(a):Employees working in areas where there is a possible danger of head injury from impact, or from falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns, shall be protected by protective helmets. On or about April 28, 2021, during the installation of roofing material on a residential single family home located at 430 W. Washington St, Medina, Ohio 44256, the employer did not ensure employees working on a lower section of the roof were protected from possible danger of head injury from impact due to falling or flying materials or debris from the upper working surfaces which were at a height of approximately 24.1 feet. The JMH Roofing LLC is owned and operated by the same owner operator as RAM Roofing LLC (Jonas Hershberger) which was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard (1926.100(a) Head Protection), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1392070, citation number 01, item number 01 and was affirmed as a final order on (5/10/2019), with respect to a workplace located at 5486 River Summit, N. Royalton, Ohio 44133.
