29 CFR 1926.503(a)(2): The employer shall assure that each employee has been trained, as necessary, by a competent person qualified in the following areas: 29 CFR 1926.503(a)(2)(ii): The correct procedures for erecting, maintaining, disassembling, and inspecting the fall protection systems to be used. a) Miguel Dominguez, at a jobsite located at Lot RVO425, 544 Randall Road, Delaware, Ohio 43015: On and/or preceding October 20, 2020, the employer did not ensure employees were trained on the correct procedures for erecting a fall protection system while engaged in residential construction activities. Employees were installing shingles without an adequate fall protection system, thereby exposed to fall hazards of up to 20 feet. Miguel Dominguez was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1481682, citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on September 10, 2020, with respect to a workplace located at 768 Wharncliff, Lot WEL138, Pickerington, Ohio 43062.
