29 CFR 1910.213(r)(4): Suitable guard(s) are not provided to reduce to a minimum the hazard due to the point of operation of dovetail machines: (a) Machine number WD210, Tyler Machinery Company dovetail machine; point of operation guarding at the horizontal bit is not adequate, in that, a gap is present of approximately 1/2 inch between the bit guard and the material being cut. Ashley Furniture Industries, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.213(r)(4), which was contained in OSHA inspection # 956687, Citation 1, Item 1 issued on February 22, 2014 and was affirmed as a final order on March 4, 2014, with respect to a workplace located at One Ashley Way, Arcadia, WI.
