29 CFR 1926.50(b): Provisions shall be made prior to commencement of the project for prompt medical attention in case of serious injury. On December 28, 2017, at the jobsite located at 5559 Anne Marie Dr., lot # 45, the employer did not ensure provisions were made prior to commencement of the project for prompt medical attention in case of a serious injury. On December 28, 2017 during an emergency event, 911 services were not promptly called following an trench cave-in. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET), and in addition, documentation demonstrating that abatement is complete must be included with your certification. This documentation may include, but is not limited to, evidence of the purchase or repair of the equipment, photographic or video evidence, or written records.
