Whether you are a seasoned safety professional or just getting started, you can choose only the topics that apply to you and your business. SafetyFestMT has the tools to help you create a culture of safety in your workplace. The Montana Department of Labor On-Site Consultation Program participates by providing quality training, promotion of OSHA's On-Site Consultation Program services, and networks with area businesses. SafetyFestMT is free and open to anyone that wants to attend. The Montana DOL hosts four SafetyFestMT events throughout the state each year, training an average of 1,500 people. For more information on SafetyFestMT, you can visit their website at www.safetyfestmt.com.

OSHA's On-Site Consultation Program offers free, confidential safety and occupational health advice to small and medium-sized businesses in all states and several territories, with priority given to high-hazard worksites. On-site Consultation services are separate from enforcement and do not result in penalties or citations. Consultants from the state's agency, such as Montana DOL, work with employers to identify workplace hazards, provide advice on compliance with OSHA standards, and assist in establishing injury and illness prevention programs. In Montana, OSHA's On-Site Consultation Program services are provided through the Montana Department of Labor & Industry, Safety and Health Bureau - Consultation Program.
